    I’d been wavering on whether to introduce my toddler kids to RPGs when they get old enough and I think maybe this tears it. Some wargaming perhaps but I’ll leave off the roleplaying since it’s clearly gone softheaded. I’ve enough to worry about as it is.

      Nothing’s stopping you from getting an older rule set or one of the many clones of such and simply ignorring everything modern.
